To my ICT students taking the on-line exam. Please read instructions properly for you to create the said activities. The output shall be submitted on March 3-4, 2015 at the lab.
Test 1. Microsoft Word: Create a three pages write-ups on the following topics. ( anything that you can write about the chosen topics).
Given topics to relate:
1. Do a quick interview of an old man or a woman (might be your lola or lolo or any old relatives ages ranging from 65 to 90 or over 90 as the case maybe) let them relate their own stories about the following (just choose from options below).
1. stories about their own experiences regarding the second world war, how they survived or anything about the war.
2. stories of life achievements (how they became rich and famous or any related stories).
3. stories about superstitions, beliefs, alamat or legends or anything like treasure of yamashita, how they dug the treasure, or about healing herbs and plants how these plants cured their diseases and so on and etc.
4. stories about their own lifestyles, why they live longer. ask their secrets, regarding food, daily life routine and etc.
Test 2. Power point: Out from these stories from the Microsoft word, create a simple power point presentation by just copy paste into power point slides. Create at least 4 files out from your stories and make a simple Menu with specific titles corresponding to your stories.
Test 3. Excel: Create a database following the given data below;
create a students' database with at least 20 students starting with surname, firstname, MI, gender, age, section, adviser, address, phone number, guardian. (a total of 11 columns). Note: for section, simply type the section without indicating the year, the same with the adviser, do not include Mr. or Mrs. just type the surname.
After creating the database, using if function, add one more column and type heading Ages less than 16 yeard old. create a formula using if and the computer will display all with ages less than 16. Then filter data.
Submit all outputs on or before March 3-4, 2015. Good luck and God bless. No exam, no fourth grading grade. The same with those students creating their own movies. They need to submit their movies on March 3-4, 2015.
